Volleyball Preview: Campus International Trailblazers vs. Glenville Tarblooders
The Campus International Trailblazers have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome the Glenville Tarblooders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Campus International will be strutting in after a win while Glenville will be coming in after a loss.
Last Monday, Campus International sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over John F. Kennedy.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Campus International who won the one that mattered. After all that action, the final score was 25-18, 22-25, 25-17, 23-25, 16-14.
Campus International was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 30 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Glenville was not able to break out of their rough patch back in August as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Max S. Hayes, falling 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-5.
