Basketball Recap: Coleman Victorious

Coleman hadn't done well against Montabella recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Coleman Comets walked away with a 56-47 victory over the Montabella Mustangs. For the Comets, this counts as revenge for the 54-40 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Coleman is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Montabella, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coleman will head out on the road to square off against Merrill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montabella, they will be home for the holidays to greet Carson City-Crystal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montabella is facing Carson City-Crystal at the right time seeing as Carson City-Crystal is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
