Captain Shreve is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Wimberley. The Captain Shreve Gators won by a goal and slipped past the Wimberley Texans 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Gators as they're now sitting on three straight.

Alex Knight was the driving force of Captain Shreve's attack as she scored both of Captain Shreve's goals, bringing her season total up to 34 goals.

Captain Shreve is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season. As for Wimberley, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Loyola College Prep the next time they take the pitch. Wimberley will head out to face Loyola College Prep at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Captain Shreve will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
