Fort Bend Dulles takes loss despite strong efforts from Mya Williams and Callie Goodly

Recap: Fort Bend Dulles Vikings vs. Fort Bend Travis Tigers
The Fort Bend Dulles Vikings lost against the Fort Bend Travis Tigers back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Fort Bend Dulles took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Bend Travis. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fort Bend Dulles in their matchups with Fort Bend Travis: they've now lost three in a row.
Callie Goodly and Mya Williams certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Goodly scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Williams scored nine points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Sai sai Stewart, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Fort Bend Dulles' defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Fort Bend Travis, their victory bumped their record up to 12-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Bend Dulles will take on Fort Bend Bush at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Bend Travis, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome George Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. George Ranch is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
