Volleyball Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kearny lost against Morse back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Komets lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-17, 25-17.

Lilly Spollen paced Kearny's offense, picking up four kills. Spollen were helped by Tanya Bri Pasigpasigan and Olivia Etheredge, who contributed three assists each. Lovely Lucy Alarcio controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Hailee Divina was nothing short of spectacular for Morse: she had nine digs and five aces. That's the most aces Divina has posted over her last six matchups. Hailie Bautista was another key player, getting 14 digs and four assists.

Kearny's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Morse, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kearny is set to challenge their familiar foe Crawford at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Morse will take on rival San Diego at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
