Volleyball Game Preview: Hillside Hornets vs. Enloe Eagles

The Hillside Hornets will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Enloe Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Hillside is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eno River Academy two weeks ago. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Enloe unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to Panther Creek on Monday. The Eagles have struggled against the Catamounts recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Enloe started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 31-29, 25-17, 25-13.
