Basketball Recap: St. Genevieve Takes a Loss

St. Genevieve's tournament run continued when they took on Chaffey on Thursday. The St. Genevieve Valiants fell just short of the Chaffey Tigers by a score of 62-59. The Valiants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Genevieve's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Chaffey, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

St. Genevieve will host Valley Torah at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. One thing working in St. Genevieve's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Chaffey, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Christian at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
