Baseball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hamilton on Friday, Jasper came back down to earth. The Jasper Vikings fell just short of the Winfield Pirates by a score of 10-9 on Saturday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Jasper's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Jasper will be playing in front of their home fans against Moody at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Winfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Addison at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
