Basketball Recap: San Gabriel Takes a Loss

San Gabriel lost against Temple City back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The San Gabriel Matadors were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Temple City Rams. The Matadors just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

San Gabriel's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Temple City, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

San Gabriel will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Schurr at 5:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. San Gabriel is facing Schurr at the right time seeing as Schurr is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Temple City, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Hoover at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
