Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Knox). They blew past the Washington Catholic Cardinals 85-9 on Monday. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Cardinals are ranked 447th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the win, South Knox broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7. As for Washington Catholic, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

South Knox will welcome Vincennes Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington Catholic, they will head out to square off against Cannelton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
