Softball Recap: Oldenburg Academy Twisters vs. South Ripley Raiders

Oldenburg Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the South Ripley Raiders by a score of 4-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Oldenburg Academy of the 20-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.

For South Ripley's part, Ellie Combs made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching an inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Combs was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and a stolen base.
