Mitchell Came Up Big in Valley Union's 48-24 Victory
Starting off the list is Valley Union's Dylan Mitchell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mitchell threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 46 yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Myles Richardson Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Valley Union got the W thanks in part to Myles Richardson playing the best football he has all season. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended three passes in addition to snagging an interception.
This year, Richardson has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 36.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 62.83 rushing yards.

St. David Gets a Boost from Pacheco in 49-0 Victory
Chase Pacheco was a major factor in St. David's victory over San Manuel on Friday. Nobody could stop Pacheco as he rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also caught a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Pacheco might have his next game, a home matchup with Fort Thomas, circled on his calendar. When Pacheco last faced the Apaches back in October of 2023, he rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown.
