Basketball Game Preview: Filer Wildcats vs. Wendell Trojans

The Filer Wildcats and the Wendell Trojans will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Filer took on Snake River on Friday. Filer took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Snake River.

Meanwhile, Wendell didn't have too much trouble with Liberty Charter on Saturday as they won 46-27. The 46-point effort marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Wendell's win came from a few key players Filer will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jarrett Borges, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds. Jordon Swainston was another key player, putting up eight points and seven assists.

Filer now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Wendell, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Filer beat Wendell 66-57 in their previous matchup back in February. Will Filer repeat their success, or does Wendell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
