Volleyball Recap: Blair Oaks Takes a Loss

Blair Oaks lost against Jefferson City back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Jays.

While Blair Oaks had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Alayna Maloney had an outrageously good game for Jefferson City as she had 25 digs and two aces. Those 25 digs gave Maloney a new career-high.

Blair Oaks has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Jefferson City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8-1.

Blair Oaks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hallsville on the 25th. As for Jefferson City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Fatima on the 25th.
