Football Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss

Normandy fell victim to Rocky River and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Pirates and fell 48-0. The Invaders have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Normandy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rocky River, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Normandy will welcome Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Invaders will be up against the Rangers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rocky River, they will venture away from home to face off against North Olmsted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
