Jones Came Up Big in St. Petersburg's 33-28 Defeat
Starting off the list is St. Petersburg's Jeffery Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 75 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 119 rushing yards.
With the loss, St. Petersburg broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2. Jones and St. Petersburg will stay at home for another week and welcome Osceola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dylan Xayasongkham's big game helped extend Osceola's winning streak to three on Friday. Xayasongkham was dynamite, making five total tackles and defending a pass. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Countryside had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Xayasongkham it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Xayasongkham saw the Cougars), he forced a fumble, made eight total tackles, and defended seven passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Keatin Emener Delivers Best Performance of Season
Northeast was led to victory by Keatin Emener, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Emener rushed for 12 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 137 yards and a touchdown.
With the victory, Northeast broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. Emener and Northeast will challenge Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Gavin Galish Leads Osceola over Countryside
On Friday, Osceola got the W thanks in part to Gavin Galish playing the best football he has all season. Galish threw for 183 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes.
