It's playoff time, and St. Paul's Episcopal had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Charles Henderson Trojans get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bradley Irish made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Edward McLeod was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Tate Johnston was another key player, going a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.

St. Paul's Episcopal kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive games.

St. Paul's Episcopal is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Charles Henderson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-14.
