Volleyball Recap: North Bend Central Wins Going Away Against Bancroft-Rosalie

It was a proper cat-fight when North Bend Central took on Bancroft-Rosalie on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

While North Bend Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Lauren Sterup and Mia Beebe, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Reese Petersen and her 25 assists. McKenzie Wehner controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

North Bend Central now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.
