Basketball Recap: Holly Springs Comes Up Short

Holly Springs lost against Biggersville back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Holly Springs Hawks were outmatched by the Biggersville Lions and fell 72-42. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-10.

Holly Springs has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Biggersville, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Holly Springs will welcome Rosa Fort at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Biggersville, they will square off against Tremont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
