It was a good run, but Albemarle unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 67-29 defeat at the hands of the Western Albemarle Warriors. The Patriots were probably out for revenge after losing 64-27 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Albemarle's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-4. As for Western Albemarle, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing The Covenant the next time they take the court. Western Albemarle will head out to face The Covenant at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, while Albemarle will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th.
