Volleyball Recap: Bauxite Takes a Loss

If Bauxite was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mills University Studies on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miners took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Har-Ber Wildcats on Saturday.

Among those leading the charge was Joely Tankersley, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last five matches.

Bauxite has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-8-3 record this season. As for Har-Ber, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-11.

Bauxite didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bryant on the 11th. As for Har-Ber, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Conway on the 11th.
