Soccer Recap: Century Has No Trouble Against Snake River

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wood River, Century was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Snake River Panthers. Considering Century have won four matches by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Snake River with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kendyl Carey (3), Tatum Welsh, and Mia Chavez.

Century moved to 4-8-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Snake River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season.

Century will face off against Preston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Snake River, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Malad on the 30th.
