Baseball Recap: Tonopah Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Tonopah entered their tilt with Round Mountain on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 8-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-2 back in March.

Brekken Miller was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Tonopah is 7-1 when Miller posts two or more runs, but 3-10 otherwise. Matthew Carter was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Tonopah's record is now 10-11. As for Round Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tonopah beat the Knights by a score of 19-5 later that day.
