            Softball Recap: Clements Colts vs. Tharptown Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Clements was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They fell  6-2 to the Tharptown Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  7-6  back in February.
 Clements saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Carly Nave, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and one  stolen base. Another  was  Peyten Burks, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
Clements' defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Tharptown, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-13 record  this season.
 Clements will square off against St. John Paul II at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.32  runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Tharptown, they will take on Addison at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
