Marble Falls is 2-7 against Burnet since August of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Mustangs will head out to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burnet). They came out on top against Lake View by a score of 46-36 on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bulldogs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.
Marble Falls better keep an eye on Josiah Coronado. He was instrumental in Burnet's win, rushing for 184 yards and three scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Coronado showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards. Peyton Lopez also helped out as he racked up 100 rushing yards.
