Preview: Grace Christian Crusader vs. Forest
The Grace Christian Crusader will head out on the road to face off against Forest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-16, which was the final score in Grace Christian's tilt against Bible Baptist Christian last Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Grace Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 509th, while Bible Baptist Christian is ranked 147th).
Grace Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Dylan Fitch, who scored eight points, and Brandon Fitch who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, even though Skipstone Academy scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, Forest still came out on top. Forest took their contest against Skipstone Academy 65-56. The victory was just what Forest needed coming off of a 91-26 defeat in their prior matchup.
Grace Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Forest, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
