Basketball Recap: Metro Tech Takes a Loss

Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the NFL Yet Academy Eagles 62-21. The Knights lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 57-41 score last time.

Despite the loss, Metro Tech still got an impressive performance from Marlon Rodriguez, who posted eight points. Isaac Plascensia also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Metro Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for NFL Yet Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Metro Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 92-30 defeat against Fairfax on the 26th. As for NFL Yet Academy, they will host Leading Edge Academy - GEC at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
