Recap: Lansing Christian Pilgrims vs. Bath Fighting Bees
After losing to the Bath Fighting Bees the last time they met, the Lansing Christian Pilgrims decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Lansing Christian managed a 54-50 win over Bath on Wednesday.
David Hall was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lansing Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Damesworth, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Lansing Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Bath, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Lansing Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Laingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024. Bath will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hastings at 7:05 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Hastings has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
