Jasper entered their tilt with Homewood on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jasper had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Jasper's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Homewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jasper will square off against Mortimer Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Homewood, they will challenge Mountain Brook at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
