Soccer Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Richmond High School for the Arts on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Manchester were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Richmond High School for the Arts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Manchester's goal came courtesy of James Blalock, who's now up to seven this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Manchester and nudges their season record down to 6-9-1. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-7-1 record.

As of now, neither Manchester nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
