Camarillo has gone 9-1 against Oak Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Scorpions will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Camarillo is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Things were looking good for Camarillo after they put the first run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 10-1 to Royal.

Braden Huber was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Grant Tsuji was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Oak Park came out on top against de Toledo on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Jaguars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Mason Tannous looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Oak Park let Henry Rizzotti and Tyler Kutsch run wild. Rizzotti got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Kutsch got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Kutsch has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Matt Leehey, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Oak Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Camarillo's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Oak Park, their record now sits at 8-13-1.
Camarillo took their win against Oak Park in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scorpions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
