Baseball Recap: Southridge Find Success

Southridge won against Miami Beach last Monday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Brito Panthers, sneaking past 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since March 18th.

The victory made it two in a row for Southridge and bumps their season record up to 12-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Brito, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Southridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brito, they will take on Miami Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
