Softball Recap: Streamwood Comes Up Short

Streamwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 22-6 to the Westmont Sentinels.

Hailey Dworak was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Oliva Gallegos also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Streamwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Westmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Streamwood will venture away from home to square off against Bartlett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westmont, they will host Our Lady of Tepeyac at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
