Basketball Game Preview: Bartlett Bulldogs vs. Holland Hornets

Bartlett hasn't had much luck against Holland recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Bartlett is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Johnson City by a score of 55-42 on Monday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Holland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Somerville 73-34. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 28 points or more this season.

The victory snapped Holland's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record. As for Bartlett, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.

Bartlett came up short against Holland in their previous matchup back in February, falling 54-45. Can Bartlett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
