Basketball Recap: Perrin-Whitt's Undefeated Season over After Five Games + How To Watch

Perrin-Whitt fought the good fight in their overtime game against Munday on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moguls. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Munday to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jariyis Williams, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 18 boards. Williams is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Bowman, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Perrin-Whitt fell to 4-1. As for Munday, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Perrin-Whitt has already played their next game, a 67-54 loss against Jacksboro on the 4th. As for Munday, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-55 victory against Snyder on the 4th.
