Basketball Recap: Onaga Comes Up Short

Onaga played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 59-28 loss at the hands of the Wabaunsee Chargers. The Buffaloes have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Onaga saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Casen Hutfles dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. Hutfles has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times he's played.

Onaga's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Wabaunsee, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-4-1.

Onaga has already played their next game (against Clifton-Clyde), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wabaunsee has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Lyndon.
