Cedar Cliff won the last time they faced Carlisle and Landon Howell did his part to make sure it happened again. The Colts blew past the Thundering Herd 57-19 on Friday with plenty of help from Howell, who rushed for 122 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Cedar Cliff's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

The victory got Cedar Cliff back to even at 4-4. As for Carlisle, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cedar Cliff is set to square off against their familiar foe Altoona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Carlisle will take on rival State College at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
