Volleyball Recap: Brentwood Academy Takes a Loss

Brentwood Academy and Green Hill squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Brentwood Academy had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

George Stevens continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Green Hill, getting 15 kills, seven digs, and seven aces. That's the most kills Stevens has posted since back in April. Lincoln Witt was another key player, getting 23 assists.

Brentwood Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Green Hill, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

As of now, neither Brentwood Academy nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
