Westfield had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Belchertown Orioles. That's more bragging rights for the Bombers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nolan Rodgers, who had 12 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Rodgers has posted over his last six matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Yurtuc, who had 15 assists and four digs.

They weren't the only good server: Westfield was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in six consecutive games.

Westfield's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Belchertown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Westfield will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ludlow at 5:15 p.m. As for Belchertown, they will square off against West Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Terriers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Orioles surely won't give up without a fight.
