Soccer Recap: Marine City vs. Roseville
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Port Huron Northern, Marine City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Roseville Panthers onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Marine City needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
They hit Roseville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Avalene Baumgartner,
Breanna Bishop,
Ava Vettraino, and
Finley Hatcher.
The victory got Marine City back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marine City will face off against New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roseville, they will head out on the road to square off against Hazel Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
