Basketball Game Preview: Prescott Tigers vs. Touchet Redhawks

Prescott hasn't had much luck against Touchet recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Prescott Tigers will square off against the Touchet Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Prescott had to suffer through a 44-14 loss at the hands of Sunnyside Christian. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Touchet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 45-28 to Moses Lake Christian Academy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

This is the second loss in a row for Prescott and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for Touchet, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Prescott barely slipped by Touchet when the teams last played on Tuesday, winning 24-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for Prescott since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
