Basketball Recap: Central Heights Comes Up Short

Central Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 52-33 to the Lebo Wolves. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Central Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lebo, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Heights will be home for the holidays to greet Jayhawk Linn on Tuesday. As for Lebo, they and Madison will meet in a canine-themed contest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lebo surely won't give up without a fight.
