Soccer Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

South Point lost against Rock Hill back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pointers lost 6-0 to the Redmen. South Point fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Rock Hill since Tuesday.

South Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Rock Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Point will head out to square off against Gallia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Point's defense better be ready for this one: Gallia Academy have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Rock Hill, they are taking a road trip to take on Ironton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rock Hill are facing Ironton at the right time seeing as Ironton are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
