Basketball Recap: River Ridge Takes a Loss

River Ridge was the 46-23 winner over Fennimore when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Timberwolves were outmatched by the Golden Eagles and fell 53-26. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Campbell Fitzgerald was the offensive standout of the contest as she dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Ritchie, who posted eight points along with ten boards and three steals.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fennimore, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, River Ridge will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Benton at 7:15 p.m. on December 2. As for Fennimore, they will take on Prairie du Chien at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
