Tidehaven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbus Cardinals. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Columbus had a senior duo take command as Grayson Rigdon went 7 for 10 en route to 27 points and Camdon Pitchford made all 6 shots he took for 21 points along with six assists and five rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Rigdon has scored at least a third of Columbus' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Vinklarek, who posted eight points.

Tidehaven's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Columbus, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Tidehaven has already played their next contest, a 47-25 defeat against Industrial on the 24th. As for Columbus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-57 victory against Hallettsville on the 24th.
