Basketball Game Preview: Morrow Mustangs vs. Lovejoy Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Morrow Mustangs are taking a road trip to face off against the Lovejoy Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morrow has given up an average of 56.1 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Morrow ended up a good deal behind Langston Hughes and lost 60-45. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from O'Neil Bruce, who posted 14 points and five boards. Timothy Ramey was another key player, putting up 13 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lovejoy was beaten by Dutchtown 88-37 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lovejoy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Morrow, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Morrow skirted past Lovejoy 57-54 when the teams last played back in January. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
