Volleyball Preview: Crestview Cougars vs. Western Reserve Roughriders
Crestview hasn't had much luck against Western Reserve recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cougars will square off against the Roughriders at 6:30 p.m.
Crestview is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since August 26th on Tuesday. They came up short against St. Paul, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Cougars seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Western Reserve, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Plymouth on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-6, 25-10.
Crestview better keep an eye on Makayla Case. She was instrumental in Western Reserve's win, getting eight digs and two assists. Lexi Mullins also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
Western Reserve was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last seven matches.
