Basketball Game Preview: Tarboro Vikings vs. Perquimans Pirates

The Tarboro Vikings will square off against the Perquimans Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tarboro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.

Last Tuesday, Tarboro lost to Bertie on the road by a 70-55 margin. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Perquimans lost 69-45 to North Pitt on Wednesday. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Perquimans' defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Tarboro, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Tarboro strolled past Perquimans when the teams last played back in January by a score of 76-58. Will Tarboro repeat their success, or does Perquimans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
