The Alexander Central Cougars breezed by the Ashe County Huskies to the tune of 59-29 on Friday thanks in part to Connor, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.
Kade Flowers was another key player, putting up six points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.
When it comes to explaining why Ashe County lost, don't look at Bryce Peters. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 9 on his way to 15 points. Peters is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.
