It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Overhills had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Apex Friendship Patriots 64-50. The win was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Overhills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Najiha Allen, who went 7-for-13 from beyond the arc on her way to 23 points and five rebounds. Allen's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 23 points. Paris Autry was another key player, shooting 40% from the field to rack up 18 points and five assists.

Overhills was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are 17-4 when they've passed the ball that well.

When it comes to explaining why Apex Friendship lost, don't look at Jasmine Nivar. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards. Nivar is crushing it when it comes to points: she's scored at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Luwam Beniyam, who posted five points and seven rebounds.

Overhills pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Apex Friendship, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-5.

Looking ahead, Overhills will head out on the road to take on Wakefield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Overhills surely won't give up without a fight. Apex Friendship does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
